"There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside"
Maya Angelou
I walk alongside people facing life-altering diagnoses like brain tumours (meningiomas), cancer, or those who are at the end of life with deep presence, compassion and authenticity.
Through soulful, person-centred counselling and embodied support, I help people feel seen, heard and held in a world that often overlooks the emotional and spiritual impact of their journey.
I support people in gently reconnecting with their soul self, the calm, wise part within that remains steady, even amid fear, illness, or uncertainty.
Through creative practices and grounded emotional support, I help people access moments of pace, clarity and self-trust.
Whether you are navigating diagnosis, treatment, recovery or end of life, my mission is to hold space with tenderness and truth. I meet you where you are. Not to fix, but to honour your story, walk beside you and help you find meaning, strength and connection in whatever chapter you are in.
A gentle, soulful companion for the final chapters of life.
I offer soulful, grounded support for those nearing the end of life and for their loved ones. This work is about creating space. Space to breathe. Space to speak what matters. Space to prepare, reflect, grieve, and be deeply witnessed in who you are.
At the end of life, you still deserve dignity. You still deserve choice. This is a time that should honour you, your voice, your values, your wishes. Whether that means planning, finding spiritual peace, or being met in your truth, I’m here to support you on your terms.
Together, we may explore advanced care planning, emotional and spiritual preparation, or legacy work that brings meaning to this chapter of your life. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You don’t need to be certain. You only need to arrive as you are, and I will meet you there, with presence and tenderness.
It’s sacred. It’s the deep work of being held, of finding peace in small moments, and of allowing your story to be honoured in its fullness.
A free, gentle space to feel supported, seen, and less alone. If you’re navigating a meningioma, brain tumour, or cancer diagnosis.
Whether you’re in the early stages of watch and wait, undergoing treatment, recovering, or living in the quiet after, this group is here to hold you. This private Facebook group is a safe, compassionate space to connect with others walking similar paths.
It’s a place to breathe, to share (if you wish), and to receive encouragement through some of life’s most difficult and tender moments. Inside the group, I share:
• Self-care strategies and emotional coping tools
• Gentle practices for supporting your mental health
• Techniques for grounding, mindfulness, and navigating fear
• Reflections on recovery, identity, grief, and resilience
• Soft reminders to return to care, gentleness, and self-love
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, exhausted, or just in need of a quiet corner of the internet where people get it, you’re welcome here. You don’t have to do this alone. This is your space to be real, to be supported, and to feel less invisible in what you’re carrying.
Sometimes life cracks open in ways we didn’t expect.
A diagnosis. A quiet dread. A shift in your body, or your spirit, that you can’t quite name.
Moments where nothing feels solid anymore, not your breath, not your future, not even who you are.
If you’ve landed here, maybe you’re searching for something steady to hold onto.
Somewhere real. Somewhere kind.
Whatever brought you here, know this: you are not alone.
At In Heart Counselling, I offer more than a service.
I offer a sanctuary.
A gentle space of refuge and truth. A place where you can exhale.
Where nothing needs to be fixed, and everything is welcome; the fear, the sorrow, the silence, the longing.
Whether you’re navigating a brain tumour, living with cancer, facing chronic illness, or walking tenderly toward the end of life, your experience matters.
And it deserves to be met with presence, reverence, and care.
In a world that often rushes past pain and discomfort, I meet you right where you are, gently, honestly, without judgment.
Not to fix you, but to walk beside you.
To witness your truth.
To hold space for what’s real.
If you’re ready, I’m here.
What I offer:
This isn't just counselling. This is a space to meet fully, honestly and without judgement. A place where nothing is too much, too messy, or too complicated to bring into the room.
What I offer is presence. Not the kind that rushes to fix or smooth things over, but the kind that stays. That breathes with you in the heaviness. That honours your truth, even when it's tangled and uncertain.
You'll find a space here where you can bring your whole self. The fear, the grief, the anger, the numbness, the quiet hope. Where you don't have to explain or justify how hard it's been. Where you can sit with what's real, gently, honestly and without pressure.
I’m here to support you through
A Personal Note from my Heart:
I know what it’s like for everything to change in an instant. To sit with a diagnosis that alters the course of your life. To feel the ground shift beneath you, while on the surface, everything appears the same.
I’ve walked that path, through a brain tumour diagnosis, through the uncertainty of cancer in my younger years, through the quiet ache of watch and wait. I know the fear, the disorientation, the unravelling. I also know the strength it takes to keep showing up.
These experiences didn’t just inform my work; they transformed how I listen, how I hold space, how I walk alongside, not with quick fixes or platitudes, but with a steady presence that knows how to stay.
I believe healing isn’t about being “better”; it’s about becoming more tenderly connected to yourself, even in the midst of the mess. It’s about remembering that there’s still a part of you untouched by illness or fear; a place of deep truth, wisdom, and quiet strength.
My role is to walk with you as you find your way back there.
Back to your breath.
Back to what matters.
Back home to yourself.
